Status:The appointment of Lynn Rosenthal as the first White House Advisor on Violence Against Women was announced on 06/26/09. Ms. Rosenthal served until 12/14. She was replaced by Carrie Bettinger-Lopez in 01/15. Ms. Bettinger-Lopez served as White House Advisor on Violence Against Women until the end of the Obama Administration in 01/17.

This promise was fulfilled.
